Band Practice Tomorrow (November 3rd)

Hello Cadets and Parents/Guardians,

As mentioned on parade, we will be having band practices with 614 squadron on Sunday mornings 1030-1200. Dress is the civilian attire. The location is Beaver Hall at 701 Oxford St E (Wolsely Barracks). A Map is included from the 614 website. Entrance to the base is off of Elizabeth St.

BYRON LEGION REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE NEXT SATURDAY (November 9th)

The Byron Legion Branch 533 is our official sponsor and we support them in functions where it is appropriate for cadets to participate.

This year, the annual remembrance parade for the legion will be held on Saturday 9 November 2024. Cadets are asked to attend to march, form a flag party and 1 cadet is to volunteer to read "In Flanders Fields".

Timing for this event is to arrive no earlier than 1230 for the parade to be formed up for 1245. Uniform will be dress blues for those issued, FTU greens for those who do not have blues and white shirt with black pants for any cadets without a uniform. Bring your issued parka or a warm coat depending on the weather.

The parade will be approximately 45 minutes to an hour with refreshments in the legion following.
