Squadron BBQ and Administration Night SEP 10
Hello Parents/Guardians
We hope you all had a pleasant and restful summer break and are ready for a new training year. We are getting ready to start the 2026-2027 training year but in order to do so we must complete some administration as we always do at this time of the year. This Thursday September 10th from 6:30pm until 9:00 pm please come in WITH your cadet and complete the annual validation form and review the code of conduct. There will be a concurrent BBQ providing hot dogs and an opportunity to meet and greet the staff and sponsoring committee members. There will also be a presentation by the commanding officer with expectations for the year as well as key dates and a new calendar of events that will be made available to you and your cadet. Parents and cadets are asked to remain present for this presentation to go over some key information and expectations for this training year.
We ask that you come prepared with up-to-date health insurance information to update your cadets file and keep them current. They will not be able to participate in any event including regular Thursdays without current health insurance and completed health documentation that may need to be reviewed by a physician in our headquarters located at CFB Borden.
Should you not be able to attend we will continue the validation process you will need to make time on a subsequent Thursday night to come in with your cadet and complete the annual validation documentation. The annual validation must be signed by an adult who is the currently listed parent/guardian in our system.
Should you not be returning this year for whatever reason we would ask that you reply to this email or reach out to 27air@cadets.gc.ca at some point in the near future so we may close your cadet’s file and we can arrange for the uniform to be returned on any given Thursday evening during our regular hours of operation. Staff are not available outside of this time so we ask that you find time on a Thursday to return any and all issued kit. Items issued to your cadet are worth well over $1200.00 for a complete uniform and must be returned when you are no longer participating.
Regards,
27 City of London RCACS
